So this was day 2 of my muscle up attempts.

I tried these over 20 times and had about 5 successful ones. The one at the top is a failed attempt. The one at the bottom is a “successful” attempt. The form wasn’t the greatest, but I wasn’t trippin off of that. I can improve that as I do more of them.

I can do a pull up, and I can do a dip. The hardest part for me was the transition. I watched a few different videos where people talked about the importance of the grip you use. It made a difference in the day 1 to day 2 progress.

I didn’t get discouraged.

Frustrated, yes. Discouraged, no.

Basically the point of posting the failed attempt is to show that when you try new things, trial and error is part of the process.
